Made‑to‑Order and In‑Stock Pieces
Senzela Jade offers both in‑stock garments and made‑to‑order pieces. Made‑to‑order garments are handcrafted individually and may require specialised materials, artisan labour and dedicated production time.
When you place an order:
- You may be charged in full at checkout, or
- We may collect a partial deposit and securely store your payment method for the remaining balance.
Cancellation Before Production Begins
You may cancel a partially paid made‑to‑order purchase only if production has not yet begun. If a refund is approved before production starts, it will be issued in full.
Once Production Has Started
Once we begin creating your garment — including cutting fabric, allocating materials or commencing artisan work — the deposit becomes non‑refundable.
This is because the deposit directly covers:
- artisan labour
- allocated materials
- production scheduling
- irreversible work already completed
If a refund is approved after production has begun, a partial refund may be issued to cover labour, materials and production costs already incurred.
After Fulfilment or Dispatch
Once a piece has been fulfilled or dispatched, it can no longer be cancelled. Faulty items will be assessed and handled in accordance with Australian consumer law.
Dispatch Timeframes
In‑stock items dispatch within 7 days. Made‑to‑order pieces follow our standard production window of 10–21 business days, depending on availability and the intricacy of the design.

All cancellations, returns and refunds are governed by our Returns & Exchanges Policy, which outlines:
